Golf Finishes Day 1 Tied for 10th at Rutherford Intercollegiate

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Temple Men's Golf finished tied for 10th in State College, Pa at the Rutherford Intercollegiate. The 12-team event is being held at the Penn State Blue Course, which is a par-71, 7,171-yard course. The tournament consists of 54 holes over a two-day period.
Recapping the Round
> Senior Conor McGrath shot an even-par 142 on Saturday, leaving him in a tie for 12th place. McGrath led the Owls with six birdies.
> Junior Graham Chase shot a one-over 143, one shot behind McGrath. Chase sits in a tie for 16th place.
> Sophomore Ethan Whitney posted a six-over 148 for the day. Whitney is in a tie for 39th place.
> Sophomores Jake Naese and Joey Morganti re-entered the lineup for Temple. Naese posted a 17-over 159, while Morganti posted an 18-over 160. Naese is in 71st, while Morganti is in a tie for 72nd. Morganti led the field with two eagles on the day.
> Sophomore Gregory Hanna made his spring season debut, competing as an individual. Hanna shot a 24-over 166, and sits in 75th place.
