Women's Rowing Opens 2023 Spring Season at Murphy Cup

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple Women's Rowing team opened its official 2023 season at the Murphy Cup on Saturday, April 8. The Owls hosted the event on the Schuylkill River, with over 20 institutions participating this year.
Temple was highly competitive in the Second Varsity 4, finishing third overall with a time of 7:57.91. The Owls saw four boats qualify from the opening heats, by finishing in the top two for the event. Temple saw one podium finish, two fifth-place finishes, and two sixth-place finishes in the final rounds of a competitive 2023 Murphy Cup.RESULTS
