Men's Tennis Ends Season No. 7 in the ITA Atlantic Region

Leo Raquin, Marin Delmas, and Thibault Frumholz ranked
PHILADELPHIA – With the final ITA regional rankings released, the Temple men's tennis team found themselves season No. 7 in the Atlantic region, while standouts Leo Raquin, Thibault Frumholz, and Marin Delmas earned top-rankings 15 individual rankings.
As a team, the Owls finished the American Athletic Conference with a regular season-best 19-5 record, marking the first time in program history the Owls finished the AAC conference standings in first place and the second time with 19 or more victories since joining the conference.
Doubles partners Raquin and Frumholz ended the 2022-23 season with a No. 9 ITA Atlantic Region ranking with a 20-6 overall record, including 18-3 in dual play, and reaching a ranking as high as No. 81 in the ITA. The tandem's 18 wins tied for second most in single-season school history, included a 12-0 mark out of the first position, 4-2 out of the second, and 3-1 in the third.
Additionally in singles, Temple earned spots in the regional rankings from Raquin and Delmas.
The Besancon, France native Raquin had a record-breaking season in singles as he finished with a No. 8 ranking, going 27-5 overall, including 22-2 in dual play. The 22 dual singles wins became the highest win total of any Owl in school history for a single season, and his .916 winning percentage ranks fifth all-time for a single season.
Delmas ended the 2023 season No. 13 in the Atlantic as he went 19-9 overall in singles, including 17-6 out of the first position in dual play, tying him for the sixth most wins in a single-season.
