13 Rowers Named CRCA Scholar-Athletes

PHILADELPHIA - The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced today that 13 rowers of the Temple women's rowing program were named 2023 National Scholar-Athletes. The 13 rowers named is the most in program history, topping last year's record of 11.
Emma Berry, Lily Bielinski, Alex Catalano, Valeriia Demateva, Grace Dulin, Madelyn Fox, Riley Gorman, Jordan Howe, Niamh Kiely, Megan Llewellyn, Maggie Page, Kendyll Petronick, Gemma Wollenschlaeger all received the honor.
In order to be named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of eligibility while competing in their institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boat for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or racing in a regional conference event. In addition, the student-athlete must have had a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for her career.
