BALTIMORE, Md. – The Temple women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Loyola (MD) in the first road contest of the Temple athletics schedule for the 2023-24 season. Tamsin Bynoe impressed with six saves.

How It Happened
- The match started off slow, with no shots until the 18th minute. Temple goalkeeper Bynoe easily stopped the attempt.
- The Owls earned back-to-back corners midway through the first but were unable to convert.
- Temple earned both its first shot attempt of the game in the 40th minute off a well-designed far post corner from Phoebe Hollin. Alexa Swetz fired the ball, but it saved by the keeper.
- Like the first, the second half got off to an exceptionally sluggish start. Bynoe made another exceptional play in the 71st minute, saving the first shot on target of the second frame.
- Loyola broke through in the '85 minute to take the lead.

Game Notes
- Two yellow cards were pulled in the match, one on each squad.
- Defenders Jessica Wallace and Phoebe Hollin both played her 90s. For Wallace, it was her eighth straight dating last season, while Hollin played her 17th straight, counting from the season opener of 2022.
