IRVING, Tex.- Temple men's soccer senior Flannan Riley has been named to the American Athletic Conference's honor roll for the opening week of the season. He is one of two goalkeepers to earn recognition from the league to start the year.
Riley led the Owls defense in a shutout of Monmouth on Thursday, saving all three shots he faced. Temple tied the Hawks 0-0 in what was also Riley's debut in the Cherry and White.
Temple will look for their first win of the season tonight when they take on Lehigh at 6:00pm in Bethlehem.
