Temple Opens Conference Play Against Defending Champs FIU on Saturday

MIAMI, Fla.- The Temple men's soccer team kicks off American Athletic Conference play on Saturday night when they travel to Miami to take on Florida International at 7:00pm. The Owls will face the defending conference champions with an 0-3-2 record so far this season.

> Temple dropped its most recent match on Monday at St. John's. George Medill scored his first goal of the season in the first half, assisted by Rocco Haeufgloeckner and Juan Zepeda.
> All four of the Owls' goals this season have been scored by underclassmen. In addition to the sophomore Medill, freshmen Nikolai Zapolskikh, Gudmundur Neilsson, and Elias Betancourt have also found the back of the net.
