Scouting TempleÂ
- The Owls were topped by the South Florida Bulls  2-1 on Thursday evening, generating six shots on goal and seven corner kicks. Temple stands at a record of 1-5-3.Â
- Nicole Sweeney scored her second goal for Temple by shooting a penalty kick, which places her and Beky Myers as the leading goal scorers for the Owls with two goals each.Â
- Shari Atkins reigns as the Owl with the highest number of shots on goal (10).
- Phoebe Hollin has kicked 40 corner kicks for the Cherry and White. Hollin records four shots on goal.Â
- Taylor Vecchione  logged her third full 90 minutes against the Bulls, making five saves. Vecchione has made 24 saves throughout the season thus far.
Scouting UPenn
- The Quakers stand at a record of 4-2-1.
- UPenn finished fourth in the Ivy League last season, and opened the 2023 season with a 1-0 win against American University.
-The team returns, senior goalkeeper, Laurence Gladu, has logged 540 minutes for the Quakers thus far this season. She has made six saves.Â
- Isobel Glass, a junior forward, also returns for the Quakers. Glass recorded three goals and one assist during the 2022 season.Â
- Dr. Krissy Turner enters her 26 year as a collegiate head coach, and her second season with the Quakers. In her 24 years at Monmouth University, Turner led the team to eight MAAC Championships. Under Turner, Monmouth won each regular season, aside from the COVID season (2020-2021), since 2013.Â
- This is the fifth match between the two opponents, with Temple holding a 1-3Â record. In 2022, the Owls tied the Quakers 0-0.
