Donabedian Earns EAGL Specialist of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - On Wednesday, the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) announced that Temple's Brooke Donabedian as the Specialist of the Week. Donabedian earned two first place finishes, helping the Owls to a season-high team score of 195.900, the highest home opener score in school history, the highest January score in school history, and the third-highest home score in program history, and the highest of any EAGL team this year. Â
Competing at home versus Towson in a dual meet last Sunday, Donabedian competed in three events scoring 9.7 or better, including a pair of 9.875s to earn wins on the beam and floor. It was the first win on the beam of the season for the senior and the sixth of her career. For the floor win, it was the second of the season and ninth of her career. Â
