Kemali Green and Andrew Kempe Earn AAC Honors

10.14.24 | Men's Soccer

PHILADELPHIA -  After a 0-0 draw against conference-leading Memphis, defender Kemali Green and goalkeeper Andrew Kempe were each named to the AAC Honor Roll.

Kemali Green was a rock on TU's backline during Temple's 0-0 draw against Memphis. He led the defensive unit for the Owls, denying Memphis eight corner opportunities as he led the defensive efforts for Temple. This was the first match that Memphis has been held scoreless in conference play and the first time overall since Sept. 5.

Andrew Kempe was in goal for Temple's match against Memphis on Sept. 12. Kempe recorded his second clean sheet of the season, previously allowing zero goals in TU's match against American (Sept. 2). Kempe also denied the Tigers of a penalty opportunity in the 29th minute, clinching the draw for the Owls.

Temple is set for an out-of-conference matchup against Mercyhurst on Tuesday at home at Temple Sports Complex. The action is slated to start at 5:00 p.m.
