BOSTON, Mass. - The Temple men's crew team treks to Massachusetts for the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday, Oct. 20. Since its inception in 1965, the Head Of The Charles Regatta has attracted hundreds of thousands of rowers to the banks of the Charles river.

ABOUT THE OWLS
- Temple had a solid opening day of fall action on October 13 at the Navy Day Regatta.
- The Owls had nine entries across three different events, with the Collegiate 4+ A boat leading the way with a first-place finish.
- With Grace Crosby as coxswain, the Silky '87 shell crossed the finish line in 13:55.10, nearly 15 seconds faster than second-place La Salle.
- The two pairs who entered their event to begin the day of competition closed in second and third, respectively.
- Last year's varsity eight finished in fifth place out of 42 boats at the Head of the Charles, with the second varsity eight closing in 15th position.
