Owls to Face FIU in Senior Day Showdown

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team will return to Philadelphia this Saturday as the Owls will face Florida International on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 2:00 p.m. The Owls enter the match on a two-game winning streak after victories against Mercyhurst and UAB.

Scouting Temple
- After wins against Mercyhurst and UAB, the Owls now own sole possession of the sixth spot in the AAC standings with five points.
- Xavier Rimpel scored his second goal of the season, now leading the Owls. His six points also lead the team.
- Flannan Riley is set to start in goal for the Owls. His average of 5.29 saves per game leads the AAC.
- Panther forward Bernardo Dos Santos Monteiro leads the conference in shots and shots on goal, with 34 and 15 respectively.
- Florida International has played against five ranked opponents, recording a combined record of 1-1-3.
- The Panthers are led by head coach Kyle Russell, who is in his fifth season. He has compiled a record of 5-22-16, including three trips to the NCAA tournament.
