No. 19 Field Hockey Closes Regular Season Road Schedule at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Alex Lepore posted six saves in the second half, but the No. 19 Temple field hockey team was downed by the Yale Bulldogs, 3-0 in non-conference action on Sunday.

- As a team TU generated 11 shots, seven of them on cage.
- The Owls also earned five penalty corners.
- Despite the setback, Lepore turned in her second-highest save total of the season in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first nine minutes, the Bulldogs opened the scoring at the 9:36 mark. Early in the second quarter, Yale found the back of the cage again.
- The best chances for the Cherry and White came in the third when it outshot the Bulldogs and forced several Yale saves.
- Lepore turned in some of her best work of the year in the final 15 minutes, stopping five shots in the frame.
