PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's soccer team concludes its regular season with a matchup against UNC Charlotte on Wednesday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 PM (ET) and the game will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Scouting the Owls
  • In their last outing, the Owls fell 2-1 to UAB, but their defense performed well, limiting the Blazers to just six shots and forcing five offsides in the first half. 
  • The lineup featured some changes, with senior midfielders Hailey Morris and Reese Henderson making their first starts of the season. Captain Phoebe Hollin, who has now started 66 games in her Temple career, appeared in her 18th match this season. 
  • Notably, Tamsin Bynoe has etched her name in Temple history with 108 saves this season.
Scouting Charlotte 
  • Macey Bader is the standout for Charlotte, leading the team with 52 shots, 21 of which have been on goal. In conference play, she has taken 32 shots and scored in three straight games heading into Wednesday's match.
  • Goalkeeper Wakeman has earned back-to-back AAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors earlier this month with a clean sheet against Tulsa. 
  • The 49er's freshmen are making their mark, Reese Black, Grace Keighley, and Allie Metcalf have also contributed goals for the 49ers this season.
Series History 
The Owls have faced the 49ers six times with the first matchup dating back to 2009.
