Green and Riley Receive Philly Soccer Six Honors

PHILADELPHIA - After a 0-0 draw against FIU, Kemali Green and Flannan Riley were each named to the Philly Soccer Six Honor Roll. This is Green's third consecutive week earning a Soccer Six honor, having been named Defensive Player of the Week in each of the past two weeks.
Green continued to be a crucial anchor for Temple's backline, making his defensive presence felt by helping limit FIU's attack to just seven shots. As he has for nearly every match this season, Green played the full 90 minutes, with only two exceptions where he did not complete the entire match.
Flannan Riley recorded his third clean sheet of the season as Temple drew against conference opponent FIU on Saturday, Oct. 26. Riley was again strong in goal as the Owls look to close their regular season slate strong on the road.
Temple now looks to clinch a spot in the AAC Championship as the Owls will travel to face Tulsa on Friday, Nov. 1. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EST.
