Temple Cross Country Returns to Lehigh University

PHILADELPHIA- Temple cross country teams head to Lehigh University for the 50th Paul Short Run. The Owls will run early Saturday morning, the men's race is set to start at 11 A.M. followed by the women's at 11:45 A.M. The cross country team will not race again until Nov. 2nd in the AAC Cross Country Championships.

Previewing the Owls

Ten members of the Cherry & White will compete this weekend.
Junior Cole Frank made his season debut at the Main Line Invitational running four miles in 21:17.7. The men's team has finished in the top 10 in all meets this season.
Freshman Amelia Sabatino and Maya Gomes led the Cherry & White women's team at the Main Line Invitational finishing both clocking in under 21 minutes.

The Field

Both teams will be running in the college gold race, the highest level at the Paul Short Run.
The college races will also feature the largest fields in the history of the Paul Short Run: 164 women's teams and 150 men's teams. All divisions will be represented at the meet.

This meet is looking to be even more competitive than Penn State and we are excited to see how the men and women handle such a large field.
