- The Owls hit the road to take on the VCU Rams on Friday night in Richmond, Va.
- In the first road contest of the 2024 season, the Temple Owls defeated the Delaware Blue Hens 67-56 earning the first win of the 2024 season.
- Tarriyonna Gary made an impact for the Owls, scoring a team-best 17 points and adding four assists.
- Amaya Oliver dropped ten points and eight rebounds with two steals to help contribute to the Owl's win on Tuesday night.
- Anissa Rivera made an impact coming off the bench with her 11 points and seven rebounds with three steals on the defensive side as well.
- In the transition The Owls', collected 18 fast break points and created many chances when forcing turnovers as the Owls had 23 points off turnovers.
- Following the trip to Richmond, the Owls will stay on the road to play Georgetown on Tuesday, November 19. The Owls will return to the Liacouras Center on Saturday, November 23, for a Big 5 matchup against Drexel.
- The Rams opened their season 2-0, defeating Maryland Eastern Shore and Howard.
- Timaya Lewis-Eutsey is the leading scorer for the Rams, averaging 22.0 ppg and 5.5 assists per game.
- Against Maryland Eastern Shore, VCU had three double-digit players and shot 46.0 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from three.
- The Rams outscored the Bison by 24 points with nine steals and forced 15 turnovers.
- Head coach Beth O'Boyle is in her 11th season overall with the Rams. O'Boyle holds the record for most coaching victories in VCU Basketball history.

- VCU set a program record for wins last season going 26-6. The Rams complied a record of 15-3 in A-10 play.
- AAC preseason second-team all-conference Tiarra East is on the road to 1,000 points. She currently has 877 career points and has averaged 374 points in her last two seasons.
- East is averaging 16.0 ppg thus far this season and is shooting 37.9% from the field, with 23 points coming from the season opener.
- East has earned AAC weekly honor roll two times last season and was named first team Philadelphia Big 5.
- In their game against Richmond, Temple secured a total of 26 rebounds, with Amaya Oliver pulling down 8 and Anissa Rivera adding 7.
- Against Delaware, the Owls were even more dominant on the boards, collecting 44 rebounds, including 30 defensive rebounds.
- Oliver and Rivera has been active on the board averring eight and seven rebounds per game respectively. Their effort have improved the teams overall numbers in rebounding.
The Owls stay on the road as they are back in action on Tuesday, November 19, at Georgetown. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
