Owls Continue Homestand Against Binghamton, Manhattan

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's lacrosse team will continue their season opening homestand this week, taking on Binghamton on Wednesday and Manhattan on Saturday. The Owls will look to build off an 11-5 win over Colgate to start the year.

> Katie Shallow was named AAC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts vs. Colgate. She She scooped up six ground balls and caused five turnovers, helping hold the Raiders to just 11 shot attempts in the game.
> Belle Mastropietro was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after posting two goals, an assist, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers on Saturday.

> Senior midfielder Kristen Scheidel netted a hat trick on opening day. She was an All-America East second team selection last year, scoring 18 goals and causing 20 turnovers.
