Lacrosse Hosting #13 Penn, St. Joseph's to Close Homestand

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's lacrosse team will close their season opening seven game homestand this week when they host a pair of city rivals in 13th ranked Penn and Saint Joseph's. The Owls will look to rebound from their first loss of the year to #21 Yale last Saturday.

> Katie Shallow was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after posting seven caused turnovers and nine draw controls in two games. Her highlight was breaking Temple's all-time caused turnover record and becoming the eighth active player with 100 CT's vs. Delaware.
> Belle Mastropietro and Amelia Wright each scored twice against Yale. The two have combined for nine goals and three assists in the last two games, and are 1-2 on the team in goals and points.
> Taylor Grollman totaled 28 saves last week, including a 13 for 18 performance vs. Delaware. Her 6.74 GAA and .584 save percentage both lead the American and are sixth best in NCAA D-I.
