Women’s Track & Field Announces 2024 Outdoor Track Schedule

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple Women's Track & Field program and Head Coach Elvis Forde announced the team's 2024 spring outdoor track and field schedule.
The Owls are set to compete in seven competitions, before moving onto the conference and national stages.
Temple opens its season in sunny Florida, competing at the University of South Florida Invite on March 15-16.
The following four weekends will consist of various meets in the Northeast region. The Cherry & White will compete at the Penn Challenge at Franklin Field in West Philadelphia on March 23. The following weekend, Temple heads to the Garden State to compete at the Sam Howell Invitational in Princeton, New Jersey.
Up next, the Owls host their annual home track meet, the Temple Invite, at the Temple Sports Complex. The event is set for April 5. On April 12, the Owls travel back to Princeton, New Jersey to compete at the Larry Ellis Invitational, a two-day event.
Temple closes out April with two meets against competitive fields. April 19-20 will be spent in Charlottesville, Virginia, competing at the Virginia Challenge. The Owls will close out the regular season at the historic Penn Relays, which take place from April 25-27 at Franklin Field on the University of Pennsylvania's campus.
Following the regular season, Temple will head to San Antonio, Texas for this year's American Athletic Conference Championships. The event begins on May 10 and concludes on May 12.
This year's NCAA East Regional Championships will take place in Lexington, Kentucky on May 22-25. The NCAA Championships are slated for June 5 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
