Owls Lacrosse Continues AAC Play at East Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Temple women's lacrosse team will head south to East Carolina for their first road conference matchup this Saturday. It's just the second road game overall for the Owls in 2024 after a 12-7 loss to No. 17 USC on March 8. They are coming off a thrilling start to AAC action, earning a 10-8 win over Vanderbilt in comeback fashion last Saturday at Howarth Field.

> Belle Mastropietro earned her second AAC Midfielder of the Week honor this season after posting four goals, two assists, and seven draw controls in Temple's triumph over Vanderbilt. She owns the team lead and ranks top five in the American in all three categories, as well as free-position goals.
> The duo of Katie Shallow and Maddie Barber are first and second in the conference in caused turnovers and ground balls, ranking Top 15 in the nation in both categories.
> The Owls as a team lead the country in ground balls per game (24.33), and are third in CT's (13.22). They allow the second fewest goals in the conference at 8.67 per game.
> Mackenzie Roth tied a season high with four assists vs. Vandy, and is now three away from tying Temple's all-time career record of 89.
