Men's Crew Battles Against Top Competition at Lake Carnegie

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 23 Temple University men's crew team had an early start to the day, competing against a trio of ranked opponents on Saturday morning on Lake Carnegie.
The Owls best performance came in the 2V8+ as Ryan Brady (coxswain), Patrick Lamb (stroke), Sebastian Rawson, Lukas Wojciechowski, Lars Veckenstedt, Rares Nechita, Fran Bruzek, Brayden MacBride and Ryan Yates (bow) rowed Dr. Gavin White to a third place finish in a time of 6:18.1, four seconds better than No. 17 Drexel.
Also turning in a strong perfomance was the 3V8+, who completed the course in a time of 6:33.6, keeping pace with Drexel and No. 18 Georgetown.
Temple is back in action next Saturday, April 6 when it heads to Pennsauken, N.J. to face No. 24 Colgate on the Cooper River.
