Men's Crew Takes on Colgate for Murphy Cup

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - The No. 23 Temple University men's crew team sees an early-season litmus test as it takes on No. 24 Colgate for the Murphy Cup on the Cooper River on Saturday morning.

Last Time Out
The Owls took to Lake Carnegie, competing against a trio of ranked opponents on Saturday, March 30. Temple's best performance came in the 2V8+ at TU rowed Dr. Gavin White to a third place finish in a time of 6:18.1, four seconds better than No. 17 Drexel.

Scouting Colgate
The Raiders are competing for the first time this spring and are ranked No. 24 in the IRCA/IRA Preseason Coaches Poll. Additionally, Colgate saw Lucca Figlioli being named to the IRCA Athlete Watch List. The Raiders finished last season 20th at the IRA National Championships.
