Men's Crew Kicks Spring Season Into High Gear at Knecht Cup Regatta on Sunday
4.12.24 | Men's Crew
PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - The No. 23 Temple University men's crew team competes in its first major event of the spring, traveling to the Cooper River in Pennsauken to race in the Knecht Cup Regatta on Sunday. Saturday's racing was canceled due to unsafe water conditions near the launch area.
With the schedule changes, races that do not advance to finals will be awarded medals based on the top three times in the event, regardless of heat.
Last Time Out
Temple won both of its races, including a victory in the Murphy Cup as the Owls toppled No. 24 Colgate on April 6. The Varsity 8+ downed the Raiders by more than seven seconds to claim its victory.Â
