Women's Tennis Plays Competitive First Conference Match Against North Texas On Saturday Afternoon

TULSA, Okla. – Temple women's tennis falls to a 9-6 (0-0-1 AAC) record after coming up just short of a win versus the North Texas Mean Green (11-11), 4-3. This stands as the first conference match for the Owls, and the second to last regular season opponent prior to the AAC Championship Tournament.

From the third position, Marianthi Christoforidou/Thamara Frasser Kawaratani tabbed Temple's first victory by topping the North Texas duo of Lou Chalard/Marina Adati, 6-0. Maiko Uchijima/Samantha Nanere secured the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Olivia Malm/Stanislava Shulzhenko.
- The Owls were victorious from the first and third positions, tallying points by a 6-3, 6-3 Thamara Frasser Kawaratani win and a 6-1, 5-7, 6-0 Marianthi Christoforidou victory.
