Owls Drop Regular Season Finale to No. 10 Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Temple women's lacrosse team concluded the regular season with an 18-7 loss to No. 10 Florida on Saturday. The Owls finish with a 9-6 overall record, 4-2 in conference play.
Mackenzie Roth scored or assisted on five of Temple's seven goals, finishing with three goals and two assists. Taylor Grollman tied a career high with 15 saves.
How it Happened
> Florida jumped to the lead with two early goals, before Roth got one back to make it a 2-1 game.
> Both defenses were on point in the first, combining for nine saves and seven turnovers.
> The Gators outscored Temple 9-2 in the second. Roth and Amelia Wright found the net for the Owls.
> Temple cut the lead to seven with back-to-back goals from Wright and Belle Mastropietro in the third.
> Roth and Mastropietro capped the scoring for the Owls with one goal apiece in the fourth.
