Women’s Rowing Set to Compete at 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships

OAK RIDGE, Tenn.— The Temple Women's Rowing team heads to Lake Melton in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday, May 12.
The Owls are set to compete against Old Dominion, Sacramento State, Southern Methodist, and Tulsa. The Cherry & White will compete in the Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, Varsity 4, and 2nd Varsity 4 races.
Last season, the Owls' Varsity 8 boat placed third, marking the first time a Temple V8 has medaled at conference since 2016. The Cherry & White placed fourth in the team standings with 108 points.
Last Time Out
Temple prepared itself for late-season, high-level competition at the 2024 Women's Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Owls took home victories in the third-level finals for the Varsity 8 and 2nd Varsity 8 events, while finishing as third-level final runners up in the Varsity 4A and Varsity 4B races.
