Women’s Track Takes Three Personal Records at Day 1 of AAC Outdoor Championships

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Temple Women's Track & Field program opened up the 2024 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships with three personal records in the 200-meter prelims.
 
Allyson Metzger led the way with a 24.79  in Heat 6. Jade Pope clocked in at 24.90 in Heat 4. Nya Browne rounded out the team's efforts in Heat 5, finishing at 25.18. All three times are overall personal records for each athlete.

Up Next
The Owls will have nine athletes competing on Day 2 of the AAC Outdoor Championships. Obiamaka Igwenagu and Inara Shell are the first Temple athletes of the day to compete, taking on the field in the long jump starting at 4 p.m. ET.
