Women’s Track Competes at NCAA East Regional

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Temple Women's Track & Field saw three athletes compete at the 2024 NCAA East Regional in Lexington, Kentucky.
Amira Green, Obiamaka Igwenagu, and Inara Shell represented the Owls, competing in triple jump and high jump on Day 4 of the NCAA Regionals.
Results
> In high jump, Green cleared 1.66 meters (5-5.25) and 1.71 meters (5-7.25). She finished 20th in Flight 1 and 38th overall.
> Shell jumped 12.33 meters (40-5.5) in the triple jump, placing 37th.
> Igwenagu was close behind, leaping 12.15 meters (39-10.5) to place 43rd.
The NCAA East Regional concluded the 2024 outdoor track & field season for the Cherry & White.
