Women’s Rowing Heads to Lake Quinsigamond for Women’s Sprints Regatta

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Temple Women's Rowing team is set to travel to Worcester, Massachusetts to compete in the 2024 Women's Sprints Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond.
The competition features over 20 teams competing in the prestigious event. The Women's Sprints Regatta is broken up into heats in the morning section beginning at 8 a.m. ET, followed by the finals section in the afternoon starting at 12 p.m. ET.
Last Time Out
Last weekend, the Owls came away with a historic victory at the Kelly Cup on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, winning the event for the first time since 2006. Temple won four out of the five races, led by a first-place finish by the Varsity 8 boat against St. Joseph's, La Salle, Drexel, and Jefferson. The Cherry & White Varsity 8 subsequently went on to win Temple Athlete of the Week for the week of 4/22.

Temple will race five boats at the Women's Sprints: Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, 3rd Varsity 8, Varsity 4, and 2nd Varsity 4.
