Ben Saggers Advances at U.S. Open Local Qualifier

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University freshman golfer Ben Saggers was one of six golfers to advance to Final Qualifying for the 2024 U.S. Open in a local qualifier held at Union League Liberty Hill on May 7.
Saggers, who redshirted the 2023-24 season, earned one of the final two spots in a 6-for-2 playoff. The West Chester, Pa. native (Bishop Shanahan HS) shot a two-under par 70 before advancing in the playoff.
Saggers will now compete for a spot in the 124th U.S. Open, to bed held June 13-16 at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club, at Final Qualifying held at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.
