Men's and Women's Cross Country Schedule Set for 2024 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – On Thursday, assistant cross country coaches Riley Bucholz and Charlotte Imer announced the men's and women's cross country schedule for the 2024 season. The regular season involves four meets, including the second straight season the Owls will host the Temple Owls Cross Country Invitational, leading up to the American Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 2.

To open up the 2024 season on Aug. 30, the Cherry and White will host Monmouth, LaSalle, and Villanova on its satellite campus in Ambler, Pa. for the Temple Owls Cross Country Invitational.

The two squads will be on the road, but will remain in Pennsylvania for the rest of the regular season for their final three meets.
 
Starting with a 10 a.m. start time at Harry Grove Spiked Shoes Invitational on Friday, Sept. 13 at Penn State University, Temple will return to the Philadelphia area the very next week for the Haverford Main Line Invitational on Sept. 20 with a start line time of 4:30 p.m.
 
With a week break in the schedule, the Owls will test themselves against many of the region's best programs on Oct. 5 at the legendary Paul Short Invitational. Start time of the meet is slated for 9:30 a.m.

From there, Temple will begin post season action on Nov. 2 starting at 11 a.m. ET, the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships will commence at Wichita State University on the Clapp Cross Course.
 
TU will make its ways back to Penn State two weeks later on Nov. 15 with a 10 a.m. start for the NCAA Regional Meet.

With qualifying times throughout the season, both Owls' teams hope to find themselves in Madison, Wis. on Nov. 23 for the NCAA Championships.
