PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's soccer battled hard in its last non-conference game, falling 4-0 at Penn.

The Owls head to Denton, Texas to play their second conference game against North Texas on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m.

- Veteran goalkeeper Taylor Vecchione played the last 16 minutes of the matchup and recorded two saves.
- Forward Demi Owens made her collegiate debut late in the first half.
- In the first PK shot of the season, Tamsin Bynoe managed to keep the ball out of the net.
- Temple started the second half with two corner kicks in the 49th and 50th minute, generating opportunities to get on the board.
- The Quakers got on the board first in the 19th minute on a through ball from outside the 18, touched by Lily White.
