DENTON, Texas – The Temple women's soccer team continued its conference play with a 6-0 setback at North Texas on Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the first quarter hour went scoreless, the Mean Green posted the first score of the contest in the 18th minute. 73 seconds later, North Texas scored again, to go up 2-0.
- The Owls started to find their offensive rhythm with 17 minutes to go in the first half as a long throw in found the foot of Yao Zhou, who earned a corner kick. A few minutes later, a second corner kick nearly saw Temple break through as Delaney Hoelker's header went just high.
- Despite the scoreline, Taylor Vecchione came up with a career-high 15 saves in her first start of the season.
