Temple Women’s Soccer Takes on North Texas and Tulsa This Week

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's soccer has two contests this week one away and on the road. The Owls face North Texas Thursday at 8:00 p.m. and then host Tulsa at Temple Owls Sports Complex Sunday morning at 11:30. The Owls are in conference play for the remainder of the season.

Scouting Temple

Tamsin Bynoe is ranked second in the conference with 53 total saves, averaging five saves a game. She continues to show her athletic ability with impressive saves through previous contests.
Shari Atkins and Yao Zhou lead the team in shots, each with 11.
Carly Steinberg has been a standout bench player, averaging 45 minutes on the field per game.

Scouting North Texas

Graduate student Rachel Roebuck leads the conference in shots with 39 shots this season.
Senior goalkeeper Maddie Ogden was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week earlier this month.
North Texas has registered six shutouts in 10 games.

Series History
This will be the first matchup between Temple and Tulsa with Tulsa being one of the newest members of the AAC.

Scouting Tulsa

Sophomore Leah Diaz leads Tulsa with 32 shots and 15 points.
Jordan Frederick leads the conference in assists with six.
Tatum Sanders played eight games with 47 saves averaging five saves per game.

Series History
This will be the Owls' tenth meeting with the Hurricanes. The first meeting dated back to Oct 2 2014 after Temple University became a member of the AAC.
