Men's Soccer Starts Two-Game Florida Road Trip with Match at FAU

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team will start a two-game road trip as TU will travel down south to face the FAU Owls on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2:00 p.m. Entering the match, Temple holds a record of 2-5-2 while Florida Atlantic has a record of 2-3-2.

Scouting Temple

The Owls currently lead the AAC in saves with 47. Andrew Kempe is set to be in goal.
Paolo Kampula has attempted three shots over the last two games, the most of any Owl over this stretch.
This is Temple's first match of the season against Florida AAC teams. Last season, the Owls went 1-1-1, with a 3-0 win over FAU.

Scouting Florida Atlantic

FAU leads the conference in assists with 16. Mamadou Diarra currently leads the team with four, while Aboubacar Traore and Sebastian Traore trail right behind him with three each.
This is the second in-conference match of the season for FAU after falling 3-2 to UAB. Last season, Florida Atlantic went 3-5 in conference play.
Head coach Joey Worthen is in his eighth season as the head coach of Florida Atlantic. Through his tenure, FAU has an overall record of 38-66-14.

Series History against Florida Atlantic
The Owls have a 2-0 overall record against FAU. Florida Atlantic joined the AAC conference prior to the 2022 season.
