Temple Releases 2024-25 Golf Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple head coach Brian Quinn released the 2024-25 Schedule and TU will compete in ten tournaments, highlighted by the Temple Invitational at The 1912 Club on September 21-22.
Temple tees off its fall season at the Fall Wolfpack Invitational on Sept. 16-17 before hosting the Temple Invitational at The 1912 Club the following weekend on Sept. 21-22. The Owls will then travel to Greeneville, N.C., to compete in the Ironwood Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina University on Sept. 30 - Oct. 1. The team will stay in North Carolina as the Owls will compete in the Elon Phoenix Invitational on Oct. 14 - Oct. 15. Afterwards, the Cherry and White will return to the Philadelphia area to compete in the Big 5 Tournament on Oct. 24. Temple closes out its fall slate with a trip to the FAU Invitational, held in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. on Oct. 28-29.
The Owls make their spring season debut at the Wexford Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion, on Feb. 17 - Feb. 18 from Hilton Head Island, S.C. The Owls will stay in South Carolina for the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate from Mar. 10 - Mar. 11. The tournament will be hosted by USC Riken. Next, TU will travel back to the northeast to compete in the Princeton Invitational from Apr. 12 - Apr. 13. The Owls will conclude their spring schedule with the AAC Conference Championship from Apr. 18 - Apr. 20.
Aidan Emmerich led all returners for the Owls last season with a 73.0 stroke average while Ethan Whitney followed closely at 73.4. The Owls also return three other golfers who played more than 15 rounds on the season in senior Michael Walsh, (74.7 strokes per round), senior Joey Morganti (76.0) and sophomore Michael Vital (76.2)
Six other veterans, junior Brett McGrath, senior Jake Naese, junior Darren Nolan, sophomore Michael Vital, sophomore Michael Quirk, and sophomore Ben Saggers, along with two incoming golfers, transfer Andrew Clark (NYU) and freshman Mason Tome (Saint Andrew's HS), complete the 13-man roster.
