The Owls Put up a Tough Fight Against La Salle

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's soccer lost 5-1 in a Philadelphia soccer six matchup against La Salle.Â
Temple took an early lead with Shari Atkins scoring her second goal of the season in the 23rd minute. La Salle found the back of the net in the 30th and 62nd minute giving them a 2-1 lead.Â
Goalkeeper Tamsin Bynoe contributed with five saves, bringing her season total to 41. She has been impressive this year, surpassing her previous season-high of 35 saves.

After an away game stretch, the Owls return to Temple Sports Complex for their first conference game against East Carolina on Thursday Sept. 12th at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will be broadcast live on ESPN+.Â
