PHILADELPHIA – On Friday evening, the Temple men's tennis team announced a new member, signing Caiden through Team IMPACT.
Caiden officially signed with the team in the Fox-Gittis Room at the Liacouras Center. He will participate in many activities with the Owls, including games, practices, and other team events.
"Getting to know Caiden this fall has been amazing—he's such a perfect fit for our team," Assistant Men's Coach Bruce Myers said. "I can't wait to have him as part of the program officially!"
Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multi-year program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.
Senior student Dante Russo shared his excitement about the newest addition to the team: "We're beyond excited to welcome Caiden to the team! He brought so much joy and energy to our group during our time with him. We couldn't be happier to have him officially join us!"
