PORTLAND, MAINE – Portland Hearts of Pine of the USL One League recently announced the addition of recent Temple alum Kemali Green.

Green was instrumental last season for the Owls, earning two AAC and Philly Soccer 6 Defensive Player of the Week honors.  He was also named to the AAC All-Conference Second Team, anchoring Temple's backline during the program's longest shutout streak since 1959. His efforts helped the Owls secure a spot in the AAC Tournament for the first time since the 2020-21 season.

Portland Hearts of Pine is entering its inaugural season as a member of USL League One, a professional third-division soccer league in the United States. The team is set to start action on Saturday, March 29 in a road matchup against FC Naples.
