News & Notes
• Following an 80-62 victory over Charlotte, Temple looks to go for the season sweep over ECU on Wednesday in Greenville, N.C.
• Gary scored 18 points, making it four out of five games that she has hit double figures in scoring.
• After Charlotte went up 2-0 at the 9:37 mark, Temple held the lead for the rest of the game.
• Temple scored 70+ points for the third straight game—all wins. They have now won five consecutive games when posting over 70 points.
• Molina posted another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, marking the second time this season she has had back-to-back double-doubles.
• The Owls will be back in the Liacouras Center on Saturday to take on the Tulane Green Wave.

Scouting the Pirates
• The Pirates are coming off a 56-65 loss to Rice on Saturday in Houston.
• Anzhane Hutton (16 points), Khia Miller (10 points), and Devin Hagemann (10 points) all scored in double figures on Saturday.
• The Pirates went 23-61 from the field, shooting 37.7%, while from the three-point line, ECU went 1-16, shooting 6.3%.
• The Pirates were outrebounded 22-39 against Rice.
• Against Rice, ECU forced Rice to turnover the ball 20 times getting 18 points off of seven steals.
• ECU had seven bench points for the whole, while Rice had 36 bench points. Emily Klaczek (14 points) and Aniah Alexis (13 points) were key contributors to Rice's bench.
• ECU lost to Temple on New Year's Day by a score of 58-63.

Tarriyonna Gary is leading the Owls in scoring in American Athletic Conference play.
• Gary is averaging 15.8 points per game while shooting 43.6% from the field.
• The Florida native has a three-point percentage of 40%. Gary and Tristen Talyor are tied at the top in assist with a 3.8 average.

• Since the start of conference play on 12/29, the Owls have had 19 different players contribute double-digit points.
• Notable performers include Tarriyonna Gary (4 games), Tiara East (4 games), Jaleesa Molina (4 games), Anissa Rivera (2 games), Tristen Taylor (2 games), and Kaylah Turner (3 games).
• In the recent game against Charlotte, three Owls starters scored in double figures: Tarriyonna Gary (18 points), Jaleesa Molina (15 points), and Tristen Taylor (11 points).

Jaleesa Molina has hit her stride this season. On 12/29/24 at UAB, she recorded her first career double-double with a season-high 17 points and 10 rebounds.
• She followed that up with another double-double on New Year's Day against ECU, posting 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• Molina added another double-double on 1/11/25 against Tulsa with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and most recently, on 1/18/25 against Charlotte, she posted 15 points and 11 rebounds.
