Owls Return Home to Host South Florida Under the Lights

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University men's soccer team is set to return to Philadelphia for a home match against the South Florida Bulls from Temple Sports Complex on Friday night. USF owns a 3-1-1 record in conference play, currently holding the third spot in the American Conference standings.
Scouting Temple
- The Owls enter Friday following a two-goal performance against Memphis. Chase Jackson fired in the first goal while Lukas Egarter converted on a penalty kick for Temple's second.
- Forward Nathan Brown was very effective against the Tigers on Saturday, tallying an assist on Jackson's goal and drawing the penalty that allowed Egarter to score.
- Preston Neal has started in goal over the last three matches, combining for 20 saves and a .755 save percentage.
Scouting South Florida
- South Florida enters Friday after suffering a 3-1 loss to Missouri State, their first loss of the season.
- Forward Fabio Bozesan led the Bulls with 15 points, enough to rank third in the American Conference.
- Head Coach Bob Butehorn has been the head man for the Bulls since 2016. Reaching the NCAA Tournament in both 2019 and 2022, Butehorn led South Florida to a 6-6-4 record in 2024.
Series History against South Florida
This will be the 15th all-time meeting between the Owls and Bulls, with their last meeting in 2024 ending in a 2-0 win for South Florida.
