Owls Travel to Charlotte for Penultimate Match of 2025 Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Temple University men's soccer team is set for its second-to-last match of the 2025 season, travelling to face Charlotte on the Road in the Queen City on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Scouting Temple
- Anthony Perez netted the first goal of his collegiate career on Friday, Oct. 24, against South Florida. Overall, he has three points in his last two appearances, also logging an assist against Memphis (Oct. 18).
- Nathan Brown has recorded assists in two consecutive matches, setting up teammates Chase Jackson against Memphis and then Perez against South Florida.
- This is a rematch of the first round of last year's American conference tournament where Temple fell to the 49ers, 3-1.
Scouting Charlotte
- Charlotte enters Wednesday with a 4-1-1 record in conference play, losing their last match to conference foe FIU 1-0.
- The 49er offense is led by senior forward Denis Krioutchenkov, who currently leads the conference with 42 shots and 19 shots on goal. He currently ranks fifth in the conference with five goals.
- Richard Mulrooney is in his 14th season leading the 49ers, holding a combined 153-64- 36 record. The Niners have won the conference tournament in two straight seasons.
Series History against Charlotte
This will be the ninth all-time meeting between the Owls and Tigers. The two met last year in the first round of the American Conference tournament, with the Niners pulling away with a 3-1 win.
