PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Temple University men's crew team begins its fall season on Saturday in western Pennsylvania at the Head of the Ohio. Racing begins around 11:55 a.m.

ABOUT THE OWLS

Temple is looking to build upon a successful 2024-25 campaign that saw the top three varsity eight boats finish in the top 20 nationally.
The varsity eight earned a Dad Vail Regatta gold medal and competed across the pond at the Henley Royal Regatta in July.
Head coach Brendan Cunningham and his staff earned IRA/IRCA Coaching Staff of the Year, while Temple was named the Comeback Team of the Year by the organization as well.
The seven shells being utilized at Head of the Ohio are: The Professor (Scott Gratson), Kevin Murphy '89, Marguerite (Lenfest), Silky '87 (Rob Silk), Mike Mirabella '14, Angus, Jamie Beyer
In addition to the Head of the Ohio, the Owls will take part in three other regattas - Navy Day Regatta, Head of the Charles Regatta, and the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta - before closing out with the intrasquad Head of the Floody competition in November.

Spectator Parking Information
Spectator parking will be available for $10 per day at the Alco Parking Lot (1101 Smallman St.). There will be shuttle service between the parking area, Washington's Landing and the Finish Line Spectator Zone throughout the weekend. Island Access & Drop Off Washington's Landing will be restricted to trailer, coach, officials, and accessible parking for individuals with disabilities only. Drop off will be available on both days but cars must immediately leave the island after making their drop off.
