NASSAU, Bahamas — The Temple Owls women's basketball team (3–4) fell to the No. 20 Michigan State Spartans (7–0) in their opening game of the Baha Mar Hoops Championship. Saniyah Craig led Temple with 11 points on 4–9 shooting, while Kaylah Turner added 10 points on 5–10 from the field.

First Quarter
- Temple opened with back-to-back baskets from Craig, answering early makes by Michigan State's Marah Dykstra and Grace VanSlooten.
