Temple Dominates Western Carolina 84–64 to Close Baha Mar Tournament

NASSAU, Bahamas – The Temple Owls women's basketball team (4–4) rolled past Western Carolina (2–7) with an 84–64 win on Sunday evening in the consolation game to wrap up the Baha Mar Hoops Tournament in Nassau. Kaylah Turner led all Owls with 23 points, while Jaleesa Molina (12 points) and Savannah Curry (11 points) followed behind. Temple snapped a four-game losing streak with the win.

How it happened
First Quarter:
- Savannah Curry and Kaylah Turner started the game with the first two buckets for the Owls.
- A Western Carolina turnover turned into a Temple layup, sparking a 6–0 run.
- Betsey Burnett cut the game to three with a three-pointer, making it 6–3.
- The Owls took an 11–5 lead heading into the media timeout at the 4:08 mark.
- Turner was fouled on a corner three to extend the lead to 15–5.

Second Quarter:
