Turner Earns Big 5 and American Conference Awards

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's basketball standout Kaylah Turner earned American Athletic Conference Honorable Mention and Big 5 Player of the Week honors after her career-high 29-point performance against VCU, the conference announced Monday.
Turner's hot shooting night helped lead Temple to an 88–68 victory over Wichita State. She scored 29 points while shooting 9-of-13 from the field (69%), and recorded season highs with six assists and six three-pointers. The Jacksonville, Fla., native also posted a career-high four steals.
Turner and the Owls will continue their homestand on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. when they host Coppin State. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
