Men's Tennis Secures 6-1 Win Over Morgan State with Singles Dominance

BALTIMORE - Temple men's tennis secured a 6-1 victory over Morgan State on Friday, dominating singles play after a competitive doubles session. The Owls clinched the doubles point before storming through singles with strong performances from Maj Najvirt Kolaric, Aayush Bhat, Pranav Nemani, Dante Russo, and Alberto Blumenschein.

How It Happened
- Temple grabbed the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 3 spots. Martim Marujo and Adam Kresina cruised to a 6-1 victory, while Russo and Blumenschein sealed the point with a matching 6-1 win.
- In singles, Mikeal Carpenter put Morgan State on the board with a hard-fought win over Marujo at the No. 1 spot, 7-5, 6-3. Bhat quickly responded for the Owls, defeating Yessine Kerouat 6-1, 7-5, followed by Kolaric's come-from-behind 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 victory against Makkijha Brown.
- Nemani dominated at No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Majdi Ben Abdelwahed, and Russo followed with a convincing 6-0, 6-2 result against Mohamed Ridha Ghettas. Blumenschein sealed the match in a thrilling three-setter, edging Bertin Karenzi 6-3, 6-7(2), 11-9.
