Men's Tennis Set to Host Morgan State University

PHILADELPHIA - Men's tennis is set to host Norfolk State University on Friday, Feb. 21, at 4:45 PM. The match will take place at Drexel's Buckley Tennis Courts.

SCOUTING TEMPLE:

At the match against Morgan State University, Martim Marujo and Adam Kresina set the tone in doubles with a dominant 6-1 win.
Sophomore student Aayush Bhat responded to Morgan State's first singles win with a swift 6-1, 7-5 victory, followed by Maj Najvirt Kolaric's gritty three-set comeback to extend the Owls' lead.
Pranav Nemani and Dante Russo delivered commanding straight-set wins, while Alberto Blumenschein sealed the match in a dramatic 11-9 third-set tiebreaker.

SCOUTING NORFOLK

Norfolk State cruised to a 7-0 win over Lynchburg, sweeping both doubles and singles without dropping a set. Okyay and McRae led with dominant 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 wins, while Lunin clinched the match at 6-4, 6-1. Solarski, Elia, and Cvjetkovic completed the sweep with solid victories to close the game.

The Owls will head to Newark, DE, for an away match against the University of Delaware on Friday, Feb. 28, at 12:00 PM.
