Brueck Named EAGL Co-Rookie Specialist of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – After reaching two-career highs in the 195.125-191.575 win over Bowling Green last Friday, sophomore Mariella Brueck has been named EAGL Co-Rookie Specialist of the Week.
The Boca Roton, Florida native tied for first on the uneven bars with a score of 9.825, helping lead the way for the Owls. This score was a major part of Temple's success on bars in this meet, scoring a season-high 48.875 on the apparatus.
In her first time competing on floor as a collegiate student-athlete, Brueck tied for third in the event, posting a 9.800.

The Owls will be back in action on the road this Friday as they travel to the Tar Heel State to take on North Carolina, Penn, and Yale starting at 6:45 PM.
